We are thrilled to announce that we have been acquired by Intertek (LON:ITRK), a global leader in assurance, inspection, and product testing and certification headquartered in London. 

Recognizing Intertek's 43,500+ employees in 100+ countries, PlayerLync's mobile workforce enablement solutions will provide tremendous strategic value for Intertek and the millions of deskless workforces across the globe that they serve. 

What does this mean for PlayerLync customers? 

Initially, it's business as usual, only now we have new resources and capabilities to continue driving value for you. PlayerLync will continue as its own entity, and our leadership team, customer success, and support teams will all be status quo. Of course, we expect to find ways to blend the strengths of PlayerLync and Intertek, particularly with other Intertek brands like Wisetail. 

What does this mean for PlayerLync? 

Our entire team is now part of Intertek's People Assurance division, Our head office remains in Colorado, and we will continue to lead the team as PlayerLync.

The acquisition of PlayerLync solidifies Intertek's position as a leader in SaaS‐based, technology‐ enabled People Assurance services, building on their earlier pioneering investment of Alchemy/Wisetail by adding robust mobile content management, communication, and offline synchronization capabilities. The acquisition also enhances Intertek's differentiated Total Quality Assurance (TQA) proposition and science‐based Customer Excellence advantage. 

Our story continues… 

In 2011, we set out to solve problems that professional football teams faced with their deskless workforce, i.e., players, staff, and coaches. Leveraging our knowledge of networks, we developed a powerful Mobile Content Management (MCM) solution that emerged that spanned use cases across many industries in addition to sports. We have always believed that our solution could blend with other technologies to provide even greater value to our customers, and with Intertek, we are excited to turn the page and start this new and exciting chapter.
